Educating a rider about the use of helmet in saving ones life along with the dependents in his family is very important then just to book an offence. like wise the use of cell phone while riding too can be severe in terms of putting his and others life in danger.
Give the traffic sentinels a ID along with a department batch so that their lives are not in danger while doing the job of traffic policing give him a certificate instead of money and you will see no traffic sentinel on the prowl.Even more best would be to install CCTV cameras in cities and highways and challan offenders and instead of paying 1000 for 100 points pay your traffic wardens and home guards that money who slog it out doing their duty be it the rain or sun.
